How to play Nasty

Get all 5 of your tees from your base, once around the board clockwise, and into your home row before anyone else. Teams: you and the player straight across win together.

Getting out

• King or Ace brings a tee out of your base onto your colored corner.

Cards

• Ace — come out, or move 1.
• King — come out only.
• Queen — move 12.
• Jack — trade places with any other tee on the board.
• 3 — move one of your tees 3 holes backwards (never behind your own corner).
• Everything else — move that many holes forward.

The nasty part

• Land exactly on anyone — an opponent, your partner, even your own tee — and it's blasted back to base.
• You may never pass your own tee — or your partner's, in teams. If your only play lands right on one of them, it must happen. Slow-play your cards (a 3 backwards buys time) to avoid it!

Home row

• Exact count only — if your card is too big, that tee can't use it.
• A tee that's snug (pushed all the way up) is safe forever.
• A tee that's not snug can still be forced back out by your own 3.

Turns

• Cards get dealt in rounds (5-4-4 with 4 players). Play one card per turn.
• No playable card? You're skipped automatically until the next deal.
• If a partner finishes, they keep playing to move their partner's tees.

🏆 Leaderboard

Points per win: 1 for each Easy CPU you beat, 2 for Tricky, 3 for Nasty or a human — humans only, CPUs never show up here.
